How much should you plan on up- grading during your remodel project? That depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. You can, after all, spend anywhere from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands on the very same room.

We are taking up this discussion with the notion that your home remodeling has to do with getting a good return from your investment and assuming that you will be selling the house at some point in the future. If you have no inten- tion of moving at any point in the next ten or more years, ROI doesn’t matter as much as the return that comes from enjoying the finished product.
